The mission and heart behind Western Legacies is to capture the essence of the western and cowboy lifestyle through photographs that can be passed on from generation to generation. The National Day of the Cowboy is celebrated the fourth Saturday of each July to contribute to the preservation of pioneer heritage and America's cowboy culture. This day has deep Wyoming roots, as it was first introduced by state's late U.S. Senator Craig Thomas. We want to celebrate and honor Wyoming's rich cowboy culture by sharing a few of our branding pictures from the VR Ranch this spring. Branding represents what cowboy and ranch life is all about - working together to help family, friends, and neighbors.
